I just wanted to take a few moments to write you concerning my recent experience with your agency.
For 30 years I was a faithful customer of the large "Like A Good Neighbor" insurance company, using them for
the coverage of my family's various vehicles and residences over that period of time.
Our years of business with them had been uneventful and we had grown complacent that the multiple discounts
that were listed on each subsequent year's policies for "Multi-Line", "Multi-Car", "Accident Free", "Safe
Driver", etc. were giving us the lowest price for our insurance coverages.
An aquaintance mentioned the Springhetti Insurance Agency to us and said that it might be worth checking the
prices we would be quoted through the various companies you represented.
As our homeowner's policy was about a month from its annual renewal date, I decided to give your office a call.
My initial call was taken by your office manager, Julie Dunbar. I explained to Julie that I was a longtime
customer of the "Good Neighbor" people but would like to see what kind of rates that Springhetti could find
Julie took a great deal of her time to thank me for my interest and to gather the basic information concerning
my coverages. Julie said that she would compile some quotes and someone would be back in touch with me.
In short order I received a call from you with quotes on homeowner's and auto coverage rates. I was surprised
with what I heard, and asked that you email me the information for my review.
What I was doing was checking up on your calculations and to check that the coverage levels were the same as my
current policy and to verify the carrier.
Indeed, the coverage levels were the same. I was pleased to learn that the company you were offering for my
policies, Grange Insurance, had an excellent reputation with its customers, body shops, and the Better Business
Bureau. As an added bonus, it is an Ohio based company.
I was quite surprised to find out that the costs being offered for identical coverage was LOWER through
Springhetti, even as a new customer, than what the "Good Neighbor" company had been charging me after 30 years
as a customer.
I am a creature of habit and rarely change something which has served me well over the years, but after a
couple of more calls to your office to double check some details with Julie and yourself, I made the switch of
our homeowner's and auto policies to Grange and Springhetti.
Since signing my new policy documents, every single thing that I was told by Julie and you has happened exactly as
Count me as a new and satisfied customer of yours who hopes to be with Springhetti and Grange for at least as
long as I was with that "Good Neighbor" company.
If any other potential new customer contacts you and asks for a reference who would share their experience of
changing over to Springhetti, feel free to provide tham a copy of this unsolicited letter.
